Cremonese Ready To Pay Genk €6.5m Asking Price For Cyriel Dessers

Newly-promoted Italian Serie A side, US Cremonese have indicated their interest to pay Racing Genk the €6.5 million euros asking price for Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
According to HNLSports, Cremonese in July was reported to have made an offer for the Nigerian but was rejected by the Belgium Jupiler Pro League side.
Desserts, 27, who returned to Luminus Arena this summer after a successful loan spell at Feyenoord, has also been linked to a move to FC Copenhagen.
The attacker who has already scored three goals in two matches, making him the current top scorer of the league, is in line to feature in this weekend's game against Eupen.
In the meantime, Dessers is however apprehensive about competing with his fellow countryman Paul Onuachu, who almost matches fit again. Now that his career is fully at cruising speed, he doesn't want to be stopped.
So, he is also thinking about the transfer. "It remains Serie A and I dream of a big league," the striker previously said about Cremonese's interest.
"I'm enjoying myself in this team. And this trainer impresses me a lot. But I still have two years of the contract, maybe this is the time to take the step abroad." he told Eleven SportsTv.
