Cremonese Salutes Cyriel Dessers After Goal Against Algeria

Italian Serie A side Cremonese has celebrated its striker Cyriel Dessers on his performance for the Super Eagles in the warmup game against Algeria at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine on Friday, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Dessers and Alex Iwobi were on target in the 2-2 draw against Algeria B team. The Algerian team went into the break with a 1-0 lead through Karim Aribi who plays for CR Belouizdad.

Iwobi equalized for the Super Eagles while Dessers got the second goal for Jose Peseiro’s side.

The newly-promoted Italian club on Saturday posted on Twitter.

"Cyril Dessers also took to the field in the 2-2 draw in the test match against Algeria. One of the two goals for Nigeria bears his signature."

The Super Eagles will next week tackle the main Algerian team on September 27 in Oran and that game will be considered by FIFA.
