Cricket: Nigeria Cricket Federation Confirm The Resignation Of High-Performance Manager

Nigeria Cricket Federation has confirmed the resignation of the head coach and high-performance manager Asanka Gurusinha, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.

The hard-working manager tendered his resignation on March 31st, 2022 based on health-related issues.

Asanka who was employed in late 2020 has brought his wealth of experience to bear on the team, instilling discipline and commitment into the players.

The country's cricket body through a release on Tuesday confirmed his resignation and further said it will take effect starting from June 1st, 2022.

It was also confirmed in the release that he will use the rest of his stay working with the federation on a smooth transition and agreeing on a plan with his coaching team on the federation's upcoming activities.
