While the Female Yellow Greens continue to impress at the ongoing Kwibuka T20 tournament in Rwanda, the Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) is poised to take another major step in the development of the sport, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The NCF has finalized arrangements to host a Level 2 Coaching Course aimed at advancing the technical knowledge and skills of cricket coaches in the region.
The course is designed to train the next generation of elite coaches who will play a pivotal role in identifying and nurturing young cricketing talent.
In addition to Nigerian participants, attendees from Ghana and Sierra Leone are also expected to take part in the program.
The training will be led by renowned International Cricket Council (ICC) instructors, Anthone Ferreira and Chris Cardoso, who will provide expert guidance throughout the course.
The event is scheduled to take place from June 12 to 15 at the NCF facility located at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
