Crowd In Lafia Stadium Excites NNL Chairman

The chairman of the Nigeria National League George Aluo has expressed his excitement following the crowd turnout in the opening game of the season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The second tier of the Nigeria league kicked off last weekend in Lafia with a game involving Nasarawa United and Zamfara United.

The 10,000-capacity stadium in Lafia was filled to the brim with the admiration of the chairman.

This is marvelous and a good sight to behold. You can see how much the fans have come to watch this game and support their teams, it makes it more fascinating for us, we are encouraged because football is all about the fans. 

“Players love it most when they see the fans and not empty stands", he said.

The remaining Day One matches in the NNL will be held on the 18,19 and 20th of November,2023 in the four conferences.
