Crown Elites Sports Holds Tenth Anniversary Awards In Lagos - (Full Winners List)

The tenth anniversary of Crown Elites Sports was held in Lagos State, to reward outstanding basketball players across the country.
Bsnsports.com.ng gathered the full winners' list with the likes of Kayinsola Odufuwa of Gombe Bulls Basketball Club, and Joy Ebiega of First Bank Basketball Club, both winning the Most Valuable Basketball Player awards for male and female categories.
Kwara Falcons Chief Coach Baba Jibril, and Coach Taye Adeniyi of First Bank, both bagged the male & female Coach of Year Awards respectively.
Zenith Bank, Total Energies, and MFM, all bagged recognition awards for excellence, on the occasion where Basketball Players, Coaches, and Corporate Organizations were accorded recognition for excellence in their individual and corporate contributions to the growth and development of the game of Basketball.
On the first day, in a keenly contested exhibition game between Ebun Comet and Raptors Basketball, both teams dung off in front of thrilled spectators, with the game ending in favor of Ayodele Bakare's side 48 - 49.
On the second day of the epic-making event, an All-star contest snow-balled between a Star-studded selected team from the Oceanic & Sahel Conferences for the male and female basketball categories.
The Oceanic Conference female side coached by Coach Taye Adeniyi went home with the coveted Trophy and #50,000 each per player as the prize money, after defeating their Sahel counterparts with a narrow margin in a keenly contested match that ended 45 - 44.
Nkem Akariaye, the captain of the Sahel & Favour Essien of the Oceanic Conference were the highest scorers, while the male All-Star contest ended also in favor of the Oceanic Conference with results at 78 - 69.
Odunfa Konyinsola for the Oceanic conference was the highest scorer with 25 points, with his closeth rival Francis Nworaka from the Sahel Conference following up with 15 points.
The awards for excellence saw Reguna Donanu of MFM Basketball Club bagging the best playmaker award for the female category, while Victor Ezeh of Kwara Falcons also carted home Best Playmaker Award for the male.
The Award for the Best Defensive Player female category went to Nkem Akariwe of Custom Basket Ball Club, as Rivers Hoopers Captain was adjudged the male's Defensive Player of the Year.
The Most Outstanding Player of the YEAR award went to Joy Ebiega of First Bank Basketball Club for the female category, while Odunfa Konyinsola of Gombe Bulls Basketball Club was voted Most Outstanding Player for the male.
An award for the Uprising Coach of the Year went to coach Tony Nelson of Bayelsa Strong Basket Ball, while the Coach of the Year award for the female category went to Taye Adeniyi of First Bank Basketball Club.
Baba Jibril of Kwara Falcons Basketball Club and Oliver B. Johnson from ABU Zaria for the female and male categories respectively, won the iconic coach awards of the year while the Iconic Team Manager of the Year went to Ayodele Bakare.
