Crown Football Club Denies Verbal Assault on Match Officials

Crown Football Club of Ogbomosho has denied the news of verbal assault on Match Officials in their match day six of the Nigeria National League Southern Conference B against Solution FC of Awka at Awka City Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Yesterday, the Nigeria National league (NNL) charged Crown FC of Ogbomoso for various degree of offences prohibited by the leagues frameworks and to cough out One Million Naira for the offence of assault.

According to them: "The match day six (6) game between Solution FC and Crown FC ended 1 : 0 in favour of Solution FC and at the last minute of the game after Center Referee blew the final whistle, it was customary for the entire crew of the club to join the rest of the players on the pitch as soon as the game comes to an end to reference God for an injury free game and certainly not to confront the match officials."

"The General Manager of Crown FC, Olamide Ilupeju nor any member of Crown FC verbally attacked or insulted any of the appointed match officials of the game under reference before, during and after the game."
