Super Eagles forward Salim Fago Lawal is on the verge of completing a move to Czech First League side Viktoria Plzeň after the club reached an agreement on a transfer valued at €2.4 million, BSNSports.com.mg reports.

Sources indicate that all parties involved have agreed on the terms of the deal, which will see Lawal join Viktoria Plzeň ahead of the 2025/26 season. The transfer package includes €2.4 million in guaranteed payments, with performance-related add-ons that could raise the total value to €3 million. The agreement also includes a sell-on clause, ensuring a percentage of any future transfer fee.

The 23-year-old forward is scheduled to undergo a medical examination in the Czech Republic on Monday, after which the move is expected to be formally completed.

The deal was facilitated by Ives Cakarun, owner of Argentum Sport, who brokered negotiations between the clubs and the player’s representatives.

Lawal’s imminent move marks another significant step in his career as he prepares to take on a new challenge in one of Central Europe’s most competitive leagues.
