D’Tigers Star Joins NBA Sacramento Kings

Nigeria’s D’Tigers star Precious Achiuwa has taken the next step in his NBA journey after sealing a move to basketball powerhouse Sacramento Kings, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 26-year-old center, who has spent the last five seasons in the NBA, officially joined the Kings after parting ways with Miami Heat earlier this summer.

Achiuwa had been with the New York Knicks since December 2023, where he continued to develop his game and contribute valuable minutes off the bench.

With his arrival in Sacramento, the Nigerian international is expected to add depth and energy to the Kings’ frontcourt as they push for playoff contention in the Western Conference.

A versatile big man known for his rebounding and defensive presence, Achiuwa has averaged 7.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game across his NBA career spanning stints with Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, and New York Knicks.

His move to the Kings marks a new chapter in what has already been a promising career for the D’Tigers forward, who continues to represent Nigeria proudly on the global stage.
