D'Tigress Begin Preparations For 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup

Nigeria's senior women's basketball team, D'Tigress, have officially commenced preparations for the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup as they begin an extensive international tour ahead of the global showpiece, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The African champions opened their build-up with a training camp in Chicago, United States, before embarking on a series of high-profile engagements across China, Spain, and Germany.
Following the Chicago camp, D'Tigress will travel to Haikou, China, where they are scheduled to play three friendly matches against the Chinese national team.
The team will then head to Tenerife, Spain, for additional warm-up games against Spain and Belgium.
The final phase of their preparations will take place in Berlin, Germany, where the team will fine-tune tactics before heading to the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup.
The tour is designed to provide the Nigerian side with top-level competition and adequate preparation as they aim to make a strong impact on basketball's biggest stage.
