D'Tigress Training Camp Roster Drops For WNBA Tour

Nigeria’s senior women’s basketball team, D'Tigress, have officially released their training camp roster ahead of their highly anticipated WNBA tour, marking a historic milestone for African basketball, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The seven-time African champions are set to face several WNBA teams in exhibition friendlies across the United States later this month and into early May. 

This tour serves as crucial preparation for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, offering D'Tigress a rare opportunity to test their skills against top professional talent.

Head coach Rena Wakama and the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) have named a 21-player training camp squad. It blends experienced internationals with promising domestic and overseas talents. 

Notable inclusions are veteran guards Ezinne Kalu and Promise Amukamara, along with center Victoria Macaulay, who bring significant international and professional experience.
