DELTA 2022: Joint Technical Meeting Holds In Asaba

A Joint Technical Meeting to review the level of preparedness for the National Sports Festival (NSF) tagged Delta 2022 has been set up by the Sports Ministry, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In a statement by the Sports Ministry, the meeting which is scheduled to hold in Asaba the Delta State capital is expected to provide an opportunity for the Team to inspect the sporting facilities in preparation for the Festival, in line with the approval of the National Council of Sports. 

The Sports Festival is scheduled to take place between November 28 and 10 December 2022.

Recall last week Tuesday, the flag-off of the Torch of Unity Movement by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa Abuja, officially signalled the countdown to the 21st National Sports Festival tagged ‘Asaba 2022.’

Meanwhile, Nigeria has also extended an invitation to Ghana, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Benin Republic and Sierra Leone to present teams that would participate in the forthcoming edition of the biennial games.
