DFB Pokal: Boniface Scores In Third Consecutive Games

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface scored in the third straight game for his German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB Pokal against Paderborn on Wednesday nighr, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian ended the 5-game goal drought in the UEFA Europa League game against BK Hacken and followed it up with another goal against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Leverkusen defeated Paderborn 1-3 in the round of 16 of DFB Pokal and it was Boniface who netted the opening goal.

The victory over Pderborn ensured that Leverkusen progressed to the quarter-final of the competition and remained unbeaten in the season.
