Dallas Wings Re-Sign Amy Okonkwo On Second 7-Day Hardship Contract

The Dallas Wings have re-signed Nigerian international and D’Tigress forward Amy Okonkwo to a second 7-day hardship contract. She will be available for selection when the Wings take the court tonight, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okonkwo impressed during her initial stint with the team, averaging 11.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting an efficient 56% from the field across her first 7-day deal.

The versatile forward, who has been a consistent performer for Nigeria’s women’s national team, provides the Wings with much-needed depth and scoring presence as they continue their push in the WNBA season.
