According to reports in some sections of the media, Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede has been appointed as Super Eagles Assistant Coach, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Ogunmodede will serve as one of the Assistants to Super Eagles coach, Austin Eguaveon for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda. Recall that the Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation will take charge of the Super Eagles for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches after the NFF and Bruno Labbadia failed to reach an agreement.
