Day 6: Renaissance, TotalEnergies Shine As Oil and Gas Games Reach Crucial Stage

Competition intensified on Day Six of the 20th Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Games at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, as several events reached their final stages, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
In scrabble, TotalEnergies emerged overall champion in the Individual Stage A Round 15 category, amassing 3,857 points across 15 matches. The team recorded 14 wins and one loss to secure the gold medal.
NNPC Limited (NNPC Ltd.) finished second after winning 13 matches and losing two, earning the silver medal. Renaissance claimed third place, posting 12 victories against three defeats to complete the podium standings.
In the women’s team table tennis final, Renaissance edged NLNG 3–2 in a closely contested match to clinch the gold medal.
The men’s singles table tennis final will feature Bere Barienea of Chevron against Feromi Kehinde of ND, following their respective semi-final victories.
In the women’s doubles category, Nike and Princess of PTI defeated Grace and Amaka of Seplat Energy to advance to the semi-finals, where they will face Smit and Masade of NLNG. In another semi-final pairing, Mercedes and Faustina secured victory over Tolu and Mitchel of NLNG to set up a clash with Eje and Soso of TotalEnergies.
The Games continue at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, with more finals expected as the competition draws closer to its conclusion.
