Dele-Bashiru Plays Down No. 10 Jersey Pressure

Super Eagles and Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has played down jersey number issues and focused on doing well for the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Since his invitation to the national team, Dele-Bashiru has been handed number 10 famously worn by legendary Jay Jay Okocha.

The Lazio midfielder has insisted on doing well for the team rather than being distracted by the jersey number he put on.

" Being called up to the Super Eagles shows that I’m doing my job, and it’s always good to receive a call-up,” he stated.

 “Whatever number I’m given, my main focus is to perform for the team.”
