Dele-Bashiru Set To Return Against Viktoria Plzen - Baroni

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, the fit-again Super Eagles attacking midfielder, is expected to make his return to Lazio for their UEFA Europa League Round of 16 away match against Viktoria Plzen, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dele-Bashiru, who sustained an ankle injury during Lazio's goalless draw with Venezia, missed the Coppa Italia loss to Inter Milan as well as the Serie A victory against AC Milan at the San Siro.

Lazio's coach, Marco Baroni, shared his thoughts about the upcoming match at the Doosan Arena, mentioning Dele-Bashiru along with two other players, Castellanos and Hysaj.

 "Castellanos and Dele could return before the break, but Hysaj's recovery will follow a different timeline, and he is expected back immediately after the break," Baroni said.

"We have analyzed Viktoria repeatedly and anticipate difficulties on the pitch because they play an aggressive and fast-paced style of football. They excel at vertical plays, have physical strength, and are aware of the challenges we will face. We will need to approach the game with the right mental and physical focus."
