Super Eagles midfielder Dele-Bashiru and Tavares could leave Lazio during the winter transfer window but the final decision will be up to Sarri, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

January is approaching, and there's no shortage of issues to resolve at Lazio.

Among these is the transfer market and the players whose transfers Sarri has given the green light to .

As reported in Monday's edition of Il Messaggero, two players are at the top of the list: Dele-Bashiru and Tavares. 

The Portuguese, who performed so well in the first half of the season under Baroni, hasn't taken off, and his price tag has plummeted.

The Nigerian has been sidelined due to injury and is now ready to return to the list: the club will push for his reinstatement, but the final say rests with Sarri, who is willing to sacrifice him to finance the winter transfer window.

Tavares's decline is slow but inexorable: after providing eight assists in two months, the Portuguese has stopped playing, and his drought has now lasted 13 months, with just six 90-minute games.

Sarri had placed his faith in Dele-Bashiru at the start of the season, starting him in the first four games, but lacklustre performances and then injury haven't stopped him.
