Delight For Governor Makinde After Finishing Houston Half Marathon With Improved Time

Following his participation in the Houston Half Marathon, Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde shared his excitement about finishing the race with an improved time, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Makinde took to social media to announce his completion time of 2 hours and 53 minutes.

"I'm glad to have completed the Houston Half Marathon in 2 hours 53 minutes today," he wrote.

 "Despite challenging conditions with freezing temperatures at 1 degree Celsius, I managed to finish faster than my previous run at the Berkeley Half Marathon two years ago."

Additionally, Makinde mentioned his participation in a 5km fun run the day before, which he completed in 38 minutes.
