Delta Queens To Know CAF Champions League Foes July 3rd In Abuja

Delta Queens, Nigerian Women's Football League newly crowned champions will know the foes to battle against in the CAF Women’s Champions league qualifiers on July 3rd, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

On Tuesday, the West African Football Union - B (WAFU B) announced that draw for the third edition of the qualifiers for the continent women’s inter-club tournament will be held in Abuja, Nigeria .

The sub continental football governing body in a communique to all general secretaries under WAFU B, further stated 3rd July,2023, 11:00 GMT as the date and time for the draw.

Delta Queens who dethroned Bayelsa Queens, who became Nigeria's first women's team to finish second runner-up in the 2nd edition in Morocco, looks set to improve on the feat.

Ghana has a sole representative in Ampem Darkoa Ladies who emerged winners of the 20232/23 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.

The tournament is slated for Benin City, Nigeria in August.
