Dennis and Bonke are questionable for the Super Eagles’ match against Sierra Leone.

Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro is sweating over the fitness of Emmanuel Dennis and Innocent Bonke ahead of his side’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The duo trained separately from the main squad at the practice pitch of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on Monday night.

However, the Watford winger surprisingly showed up for the team’s second friendly against Ecuador in New Jersey.

Defensive midfielder Bonke, who featured in the first friendly against Mexico, missed the Ecuador game due to injury. Bonke is yet to fully shake off his injury.

The Super Eagles will host the Leone Stars at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Thursday.
