The Nigerian side, participating only in the boys’ category of the four-day regional qualifiers, will be aiming for their first victory of the tournament as they look to remain in contention for a place in the semifinals. The match against Benin Republic is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at the Stade du 4 Août in Ouagadougou.

This year’s zonal competition features teams from Burkina Faso, Ghana, Benin Republic, Niger Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, and Nigeria. Matches continue through midweek, with the semifinals set for Wednesday. The third-place playoff and final are slated for Thursday, bringing the tournament to a close.
