Dessers Delighted After Netting 50th Goal For Rangers

Nigerian forward Cyril Dessers expressed immense joy after reaching a personal milestone of 50 goals for Scottish side Rangers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dessers found the net during Rangers' 3-1 win over Dundee United in their final match of the season on Wednesday, marking a significant achievement at Ibrox.

 “We spoke about it a little earlier in the week and I have to thank him for letting me take it,” Dessers said.

 “It’s a beautiful moment for me—my 50th goal, and to score it here at Ibrox is something I’m really proud of. It’s a major milestone in my career."

Reflecting on the season, he added: “It’s been a season with a few bumps—maybe a few too many—but that moment after the game was special for everyone: the fans, the players, and the staff.”

Dessers, who joined Rangers from Italian side Cremonese in 2023, scored 28 goals this season, bringing his total to 50 since joining the club.
