Dessers Rates Belgian, Dutch Leagues Better Than Scottish League

Nigeria's Super Eagles and Rangers striker Cyril Dessers has rated the Belgian Jupiler League and Dutch Eredivisie better than the Scottish Premier League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Before moving to the Scottish league, Dessers played with KRC Genk in Belgium where he went on loan to the Dutch side Feyenoord and he was able to distinguish himself in the team.

Dessers spent last season with the Italian side US Cremonese and his 6 goals for the team counted for little as the team went on relegation.

Despite rating the two leagues better, he quickly admitted that there is no easy game in Scotland either.

"In terms of overall standard, the Belgian and Dutch competitions are also better than the Scottish competitions and of course, Serie A is of a different level. 

But there are hardly any easy matches here", he said.

Dessers has scored 3 goals this season for Gers.
