Nigeria's sprinter, Tobiloba Amusan has continued to dominate headlines in world athletics with her amazing performances as she won another gold medal, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The United States-based athlete made all the headlines in this year's Commonwealth Games in Birmingham when she claimed a gold medal in the women's 100 hurdles final with a new record of 12.12 seconds.
Amusan lived up to expectations again in Zurich Diamond League on Thursday evening as she successfully defended her title and claimed a gold medal with a new record.
She finished the race in 12.29s and dumped the United States Jone to 2nd (12.40) and Jamaica's Anderson to 3rd ( 12.42).
Apart from winning the gold medal Amusan also broke the 22-year-old meeting record set by Gail Dever.
