Alfred Kadiri
Akinade Onigbinde has assured fans of Doma United that his players will do all that it takes within the rules of the game to secure the 3 points in Wednesday's Matchday 8 fixture against Abia Warriors, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
The Savannah Tigers on Matchday 7 lost one nil to Rangers at the Akwa City Stadium in a keenly contested game, but are keen for a win when they host Abia Warriors at the Pantami Stadium.
"The game is one we want to win, as the 3 points could shoot Doma United to the 4th spot ahead of Sunshine Stars if they lose by 3-0 or perhaps give us a lifeline of finishing the abridged league first stanza and season on a high.
"It's a tricky fixture, considering Abia Warrior's good form on the road. I want to assure our fans, that the team is capable of doing damage as we fear no foes.
"Abia Warriors can be torn on the flesh but as Tigers, we will be tough and fearsome in the game.
"We also hope we can start scoring more goals and keeping it decent with the number of goals we have shipped in, as the goals difference could play a vital role in deciding a few events at the climax of the season.
Newly-promoted Doma United have proved critics as they are 5th on the Group A 10-team log with 9 points from seven matches.
