Dutch Eredivisie: Akpom Fires Brace In Ajax Victory

Dutch Eredivisie side Ajax Amsterdam continued their resurgence as they secured another convincing win over Herreveen on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria-eligible player, Chuba Akpom, stole the show in the encounter despite not starting the game.

Bergwijn and Brobbey had put Ajax ahead just before halftime before Luuk Brouwers reduced the tally for Herreneven.

With the host leading 2-1, Akpom came on in the 73rd minute and netted the 3rd goal in the 84th minute.

In the 92nd minute, Akpom then got his second goal and Ajax’s fourth.

Akpom has now scored 3 goals in the last two matches having scored during the week against Volendam.
