Dutch Eredivisie: Bassey On Target As Ajax Back To Winning Ways

After suffering a humiliating 1-6 loss to the Italian Serie A side Napoli in UEFA Champions League during the week, Dutch Eredivisie champions Ajax Amsterdam returned to winning ways on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

They played away to FC Volendam and it ended 2-4 in their favour.

Tadic drew the first blood in the 17th minute from the penalty spot before Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey netted the second goal in the 39th minute.

Brobbey made it 3-0 for Ajax in the 64th minute but two quick goals from Leqincio and Eiting in the 74th and 86th minutes brought the host back into the game.

Klassen sealed the game for Ajax in the 96th minute and ensured a full point.
