EPL : Awonyi, Ania Features As Nottingham Forest Fails To Nail Burnley

Nigeria's Super Eagles duo of Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi both featured for Nottingham Forest, as they played out a 1-1 draw against Burnley, on Monday night, in the English Premier League Matchday 5 encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Super Eagles forward, Awonyi, provided an assist in the game for Nottingham Forest, and also his second Assist in a back-to-back games, after he set up the goal in his side’s 1-0 win at Chelsea two weeks ago. 

While the 26-year-old played for 88 minutes his Nigerian teammate Ola Aina was 90 minutes of action.

Burnley had taken the lead in the 41st minute through Mohamed Amdouni.

But Awoniyi set up former Chelsea player Callum Hudson-Odoi to equalise for Forest on 61 minutes.

Awoniyi has scored three goals in five league appearances this season.

The draw saw Forest move up to eight position on seven points after five games in the league table.
