Nigeria's Super Eagles and Everton FC midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has received accolades from his manager Frank Lampard for his performance against Nottingham Forest, BSNsports.com.ng report
Everton came back from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest on Saturday at Goodison Park.
Iwobi who played from the middle was the cynosure of all eyes with his amazing display.
Lampard heaped praises on the Nigeria international for the way he was able to control the game from the middle.
"I thought Alex Iwobi was fantastic. Receiving it, controlling it and breaking through lines and passing well," Lampard said.
Meanwhile, the player has celebrated his 100th appearance for the club.
"Honoured To Have Made 100 Appearances For The Blues.†he wrote.
Iwobi joined Everton from Arsenal in 2019 and scored his first goal for the club against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
