EPL: Iwobi Wins Man Of The Match

Following his amazing performance against West Ham United, Nigeria's Super Eagles and Everton FC player Alex Iwobi has been adjudged as the Man Of The Match, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

Everton secured their first victory of the season under Frank Lampard after they defeated the Hammers by a lone goal.

Nigeria's Iwobi played an active role in the game as he gave the assist to Meal Maupay who sealed the game at Goodison Park.

Lampard hailed Iwobi and the entire team for the performance during the match.

"The reality is, we’ve worked hard this season and deserved more.

"To hold on, fight, dig in... we showed a lot of parts. We’ll get better. This team has to be a reflection of the passion of the fans - they demand things. We have the players who can deliver that."

The Nigeria international was later voted player of the match.

Iwobi is expected to join the Super Eagles camp for the International friendly against Algeria.
