EPL: Iwobi's Strike Against Newcastle Wins Club's Goal Of The Month Award

By Oluwayemi Omolagba

Super Eagles winger, Alex Iwobi goal for Everton against Newcastle United has been voted as the club's goal of the month in March, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In the game of relegation survival played on 17th March between Everton and Newcastle United, the winger scored a 99th minute winner to earn Everton the needed win in their bid to escape the drop.

However, the goal has now been rewarded by Everton faithfuls who voted it as the club's goal of the month of March.

Iwobi has been in fine form since Lampard took over Everton and he was once again instrumental as Everton pipped Manchester United by a lone goal on Sunday to continue their push for survival.

Everton are occupying 17th position on the Premier League table after 30 games but Lampard and his wards can help the club avoid the drop should they put up a good fight in their remaining fixtures like they did against Manchester United
