EPL: Super Eagles Duo To Miss Brentford Clash

Ahead of the Saturday's Premier League clash against Brentford, the manager of Watford FC, Roy Hodgson, has confirmed that Nigeria's Super Eagles duo of Samuel Kalu and defender William Troost Ekong will miss the tie, BSNsports.com.ng gathered


The Hornets who have been having it difficult recently in the league suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Leeds United last weekend which moved them closer to the relegation 


They will face inform Brentford this weekend and will be without the Nigeria Stars.


Hodgson confirmed that both players are down with minor injuries and may likely be back for the next rounds of games.


" Samuel Kalu, who was with us last time, has got an ankle injury. Willy Ekong is suffering from a slight hamstring strain. We don't think it's major but too early to risk him in this game," he said.


Watford, are six points from safety and will take a miracle for them to stay up.
