Several Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation of Fisayo Dele-Bashiru ahead of the summer transfer window, with discussions over the midfielder’s future expected at the end of the season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
According to reports from Sky Sports, at least three Premier League sides have expressed interest in the Lazio midfielder, while Turkish club Trabzonspor are also monitoring developments closely.
Nottingham Forest and AFC Bournemouth were among the clubs linked with Dele-Bashiru during the January transfer window, but Lazio rejected attempts to sign the player.
The 24-year-old, who previously featured for Sheffield Wednesday, still has two years remaining on his current contract with the Serie A side.
Sky Sports reported that talks between the player and Lazio regarding his long-term future are expected once the campaign concludes.
Sources close to the midfielder reportedly indicate that although Dele-Bashiru is settled in Italy, he remains open to a potential move to England’s top flight.
Dele-Bashiru joined Lazio from Hatayspor in 2024 and has continued to draw attention with a series of impressive performances in midfield.
