EXCLUSIVE : Rangers New General Manager Reveals Strategic Plans for Club

Rangers International newly appointed General Manager, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku has revealed his strategic plans for the team, with a view of bringing the club back to its glory days, The BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Manager, made the pledge on Thursday, when he officially announced to Sports writers in Enugu, of the club plans for 2023-2027.
Amobi, explained that the plans defined the club present and future, adding it aims at making Rangers a truly professional football institution.
" We intend to achieve this through professionalism and become the most admired and followed club in Africa, " said Amobi.
"The plans will be achieved through three standing which the club called†Rangers Trinity†in C. S. C."
“The first C stands for Commercial Development and the S stands for Sporting Excellence and the last C stands for Community Social Impact."
“The management has to think big globally and digitally in order to foster or strengthen what the club history and identity means to the people.
“The club lines of strategic are the C.S.C, Brand Positioning, Financial Management and Sustainability."
“Under Commercial Development, we shall embark on massive sponsorship drive, establish commercial partnership internally and externally."
“Announce a Jersey sponsor, make available club wears and merchandise for purchase because we believe this strategic plan must be measurable and achievable."
“We have set a target to sale at least 20 thousand jerseys each season, and under Sporting Excellence we have the target to win one of either league of Federation cup,†he said.
He noted that the Management take off point is humility and leadership as the club remain one of the historic sporting institution in the country.
“That is why the club is considered and known to be a movement of the people and it’s badge is recognised in all the Africa and around the world."
“We want to change the club landscape through commercial development and innovation and the target set out in the stategic plan is a very ambitious one."
“The management want to ensure professionalism in the way the club is been run by and large because of its sporting results, it’s bond with member of supporters club and Community,†He explained.
Amobi also revealed that the club would establish its under 13 and 17 team and upgrade the scouting department.
“We are going to professionalise women sports section, make the club the leading centre for knowledge, structure and strengthen leadership with all other institutions."
“Under our strategic target for Community Social Impact, we are going to take Rangers back to the people because the club belongs to them,†he concluded.
