Ebuehi on target, as Empoli riot Primavera 12-1 in training match

Italian Club side Empoli FC continued their build up pre-season form with a 12-1 thrashin of a club’s named Primavera team in a match played at the training pitch of the Carlo Castellani Stadium on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Super Eagles defender was among the goalscorers as Paolo Zanetti’s men took a 6-0 lead into the halftime break.

Six more goals followed for Empoli’s senior team after the interval, while the youth side got their consolation goal from the penalty spot. Young Italian striker Renzi made no mistake from 11 yards for Antonio Buscè’s Primavera.

Wednesday’s win continues Empoli’s perfect outing in preseason.

Next up for Empoli is a Coppa Italia face-off with Spal at the Stadio Carlo Castellani on August 6, where Ebuehi will aim to make his competitive debut.
