Edo FA Cup: Insurance Feeders Dispatch Konstanz Dike FC, Battle Ine Stars In Last 8

Bendel Insurance Feeders, on Friday evening defeated Konstanz Dike FC by a lone goal in the 2nd round match of the Edo FA Federation Cup to qualify for the quarter finals, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Endurance Omoruyi scored the only goal of the match played at the School of Health Pitch. The strong striker converted a spot kick to give the junior Insurance team victory in the 31st minute after Osazee Obasuyi had been harshly brought down in the box by Konstanz Dike defender.

Insurance Feeders who were runners up to their senior brothers last season will be facing One Stars on Saturday at the Western Boys College by 3PM.

Meanwhile, the defending champions Bendel Insurance FC will be playing the first Quarter finals match against YAK FC at the Western Boys College Mini Stadium with a kick off time of 9:00 am. 

In the other second round matches played earlier in the day, Rolly FC edged West Gate 4-3 via penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw. Elite FC defeated BJ Foundation FC 2-1, as Ine Stars subdued stubborn Etto FC 3-2 to qualify for quarter finals.
