Edo FA cup: Insurance Feeders Dispatch Konstanz Dike FC, Qualify For Quarterfinals

Bendel Insurance FC Feeders on Friday defeated Konstanz Dike FC by a lone goal in the second round match of the Edo FA Federation cup competition to qualify for the quarter finals.

Endurance Omoruyi scored the only goal of the match played at the School of Health. The strong striker converted a spot kick to give the junior Insurance a deserved victory in the 31st minute of play after Osazee Obasuyi had been harshly brought down in the box by Konstanz Dike FC defender.

Insurance Feeders who were runners up to their senior brothers last season will be facing One Stars on Saturday March 11 at the Western Boys College by 3PM.

Meanwhile, the defending champions Bendel Insurance FC will be playing the first Quarter finals match on Saturday against Yak FC at the Western Boys College Mini stadium. Kick off time is 9:00 AM. 

In the other second round matches played earlier on Friday, Rolly FC beat West Gate 4-3 via penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw. Elite FC sent BJ Foundation FC 2-1 as Ine Stars subdued stubborn Etto FC 3-2  to qualify for quarter finals
