Edo Queens Face TP Mazembe In CAF Women's Champions League Semis

Nigeria representative at the 2024 CAF Women's Champions League, Edo Queens will trade tackles with TP Mazembe in the semi-final, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Edo Queens topped Group B table with a superior goal difference having garnered same points (7) with FC Masar who came second. I. group A, FAR Rabat topped the group with 9 maximum points in three games while TP Mazembe have 6 points to come second.

 Edo Queens will take on DR Congo’s TP Mazembe in Casablanca on November 19 before FC Masar face Moroccan giants AS FAR same day.

On 3rd November, 2022 a Nigerian women's club, Bayelsa Queens defeated TP Mazembe 0-2 in a CAF Women’s Champions League earning their first win in the competition.

The third-place playoff is scheduled for November 22, while the final will take place on November 23.

FC Masar’s historic run marks a significant milestone for Egyptian women’s football on the continental stage.
