Nigeria Women Football League Champions, Edo Queens have qualified for the 4th Edition of the CAF Women's Champions League following a 3-0 spanking of Benin Republic side - Ainonvi FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The NWFL champions have won 2024 WAFU B Women’s Champions League tournament in Bouake, Côte d’Ivoire. Goals from Suliat Abideen and a brace from Emem Essien ensured they completed a devastating run at the regional qualifiers against Ainonvi FC. Led by Moses Aduku, the girls began their journey with; 5-0 win over As Garde of Niger, 3-0 win over Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana and 1-0 win over Omni Etincelle of Burkina Faso. They met local side Inter D'Abijdan in the Semi Finals, winning 2-1 before making it to the final.
