Ex-Akwa United and Sporting Lagos assistant, Edward Green has joined Rivers United as the club's assistant coach, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Green is one of the very few holders of the UEFA C Licence in Nigeria and is currently preparing to enroll for the UEFA B licence.

While in charge of Sporting Lagos in the NPFL, the team played arguably the best brand of football in the country.
