Super Eagles Coach, Austine Eguavoen has said that the coaching crew must work on how the mlidfielders will transit final passes to the attackers, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The former Super Eagles captain identified inability of the strikers to be calmed in the opponent 18 yard box as reason they could not beat Ghana on Friday

While speaking with the Super Eagles media during their training in Abuja on Saturday identified that as the reason they failed to defeat Ghana at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

"we had two clears cut chanches we would have buried but we were not calmed enough in the box but we will work on how to get final balls to the attackers to have those easy passes that lead to goals.

"We're half-way through and have a word with them a while ago and i doff my hat for them for being resilient, work hard in such an atmosphere in Kumasi. So, it was a fair result.

"But now, some players couldn't get involved now because one or two had knocks on Friday and in the recovery training players that played 90 to 95 minutes usually will do a little but of recovery training and rest and fully resume tomorrow (Sunday). But few of them that had knocks like Chukwueze, We are going to rest him.

"We have to take the game to Ghana. We tried to take the game to them on Friday but they were also very tough at the back especially the defense led by Amarte. Amarte was good, the goalkeeper was good as well."

Following their 0-0 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Nigeria will need outright win on Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja.
