Egypt, Tunisia Beat Nigerian Clubs As Action Heats Up at African Women’s Volleyball Club Championships

The two Nigerian clubs at the ongoing 2025 African Women's Volleyball Club Championship lost to their Egyptian and Tunisian counterparts.
In the first match of Day 3, APR of Rwanda fell to Mayo Kani Evolution in a hard-fought four-set match, with the Cameroonian side coming from behind to seal a 3-1 victory (19-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-19).
In Pool B, Kenya Prisons secured their first win of the tournament with a dominant straight-set victory over Spikers and Spiking Stars, cruising to a 3-0 win (25-9, 25-15, 25-16).
In another match in Pool D, Kenya Pipeline continued their impressive form, overcoming Litto Team Volleyball in four sets. After taking the first two sets, KPC briefly stumbled in the third but bounced back to win 3-1 (25-20, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21).
Meanwhile, Zamalek maintained their unbeaten run with a clean 3-0 sweep over the CNS Spikers, controlling the match throughout (25-14, 25-20, 25-16).
In Pool A, Carthage showcased their strength with a commanding performance against Nigeria Customs, taking the match in straight sets (25-18, 25-19, 25-13).
