Nigeria and Eintrancht Frankfurt defender Nnamdi Collins has decided to play for Germany at the national level at the expense of Nigeria, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 19 year old is qualified to represent both countries having being born in Germany to Nigeria parents.

The lanky defender on Thursday confirmed that his target is to play for the German machine in the nearest future.

“If one day I had the opportunity to help the national team on the big stage, who wouldn’t be happy? As a child, I always dreamed of it, and it was always one of my goals. 

“It’s not on my Christmas wish list for next year, because I want to win the next few games and be part of the U21 European Championship and play well in the European Championship. Those are my next steps and goals,” he explained.
