Ejike Inks One Year Deal With Royal Antwerp

Super Eagles winger, Chidera Ejike has completed his move to Belgian League club Royal Antwerp from CSKA Moscow on a one-year deal.

The 25-year-old joined for free, was unveiled by the club on Sunday.

Ejuke, took advantage of the war situation after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The attacking winger, who was highly rated during his time in Russia, spent last season on loan at Hertha Berlin.

In 20 Bundesliga games he provided three assist but failed to score.

Ejuke’s first foray into European football came in Norway with VÃ¥lerenga. He played 69 games for the Oslo based side, scoring 15 goals and providing six assists. SC Heerenveen then signed the player from

Norway. During his time in the Eredevisie, Ejuka played just one season, scoring nine goals and providing another six assists in 29 matches.

CSKA then spent a few million Euros to bring the Nigerian to Russia. Prior to the war, he scored 10 goals for CSKA and provided eight assists.
