Elegbeleye Heads Interim Management Committee To Oversee NPFL

Ministry of youth and sports development under Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare has set up Interim Management Committee ( IMC) that will oversee the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), BSNSports.com.ng understand.

The League Management Company (LMC) which has been in charge of the league in the past nine years was declared illegal by the Sports ministry and has its licence withdrawn by the Nigeria Football Federation following the directives of the ministry.

The ministry announced the interim committee through a press release and it consists of 11 members and also has Gbenga Elegbeleye as the chairman.

Members of the IMC are as follows - 

1. Gbenga Elegbeleye - Chairman

2. Paul Bassey - Vice Chairman

3. Davidson Owumi - Head of Operations 

4. Kunle Soname

5.Daniel Amokachi

6. Calvin Emeka Onwuka

7. Aliyu Adamu

8.Rep of the NFF.

9. Rep of the Nigeria Police Force 

10. Barrister Danladi Ibrahim. 

11.Olumide Bamiduro. Secretary
