An official of the Nigeria U20 national team has said that AC Milan U19 defensive midfielder, Victor Eletu's late arrival to camp will not affect the team's game plans at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Eletu is the only player in the 21-man list yet to hit the team's camp in Argentina as the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup commences in four days.
The 20 players who left Nigeria for Buenos Aires have started training ahead of the age-grade competition.
"His absence will not affect our game plan. The team official told BSN Sports.
"No doubt, he has the quality to add to the Flying Eagles but his absence will not in any way affect us. We are looking forward to having him in camp and because he is based in Italy, he will play a major role in the group's second game versus Italy.
The two times World Cup finalists will engage Colombia U20 national team in an international friendly game on Tuesday.
The 2015 African Nations Cup champions are in group D with Dominican Republic, Italy, and Brazil.
