Elijah Ani Nominated For Rwanda Premier League Player Of The Year Award

Bugesera FC Talisman, Elijah Ani have been nominated for the 2023/24 Rwanda Premier League player of the year award after his successful first season in the East African nation, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The former Rangers Int'l and Lobi Stars FC forward, had a remarkable season, were he finished at the top of the Primus National League scoring charts with 15 goals which played a crucial role in helping Bugesera FC avoid relegation.

He also helped the Nyamata-based side reach the Peace Cup final which they lost to Police FC.

The other two players that are in the race for the player of the year award, includes APR FC midfielder Jean Bosco Ruboneka and Rayon Sports midfielder Kevin Muhire are vying for the inaugural Rwanda Premier League (RPL) player of the year award for the 2023/24 season.

The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 15, at Kigali Serena Hotel.
