Emirate FA Cup: Iheanacho Goal Not Enough As Leicester City Crash Out

It was mixed feelings for Nigeria's Super Eagles and Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho in the Emirate FA cupp on Tuesday as his counted for little against Blackburn Rovers, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Foxes played host to the championship side at the King Power stadium and suffered a 1-2 defeat.

Dolan put the away side ahead in the 33rd minute before Szmodic made it 0-2 in the 52nd minute to silence the home crowd.

The Nigeria international who started the day on the bench was introduced in the 58th minute and made his introduction counted as he scored in the 67th minute.

He almost equalised the game later but Blackburn's backline stood their ground to see off the game.

Iheanacho has now scored 18 goals in 24 FA Cup appearances since 2016.
